Hey, I’m Nikita Williams and I am an artist, animator and storyboarder.

I’m from Barbados, a lovely, sunny island in the Caribbean but I currently reside in Canada.

As a kid, I’ve always loved cartoons, animated movies and books. I remember animations like Anastasia, The Lion King, Sakura Card Captors and Rurouni Kenshin having a real impact on me. From the stories and the characters to the animation, these things kept me enamored and curious.  It didn’t take long for art to take up all my free time.

In 2012, I found my way into the 2D animation industry working as an animator, 2D builder and character designer.

When I’m not working, I love creating colourful, serene illustrations that play with mood using both traditional and digital art medias, along with my other interests such as books, music (specifically soca and k-pop) plants and sunsets.
